Same vintage, same vinification, but two different sites: with this package you will clearly discover the influence of terroir!

The wines: The 2021 vintage was cool and exceptionally good for Pinot Nero, especially in the valley Bassa Atesina. Overall, both Pinot Neros exhibit very typical characteristics of the varietal: they are elegant and powerful, with balanced tannins and long-lasting. GLEN is long and fruity, while MAZON is full-bodied with more complexity and pronounced tannins.

The sites:

Mazon - 350-450 m a.s.l.
The Mazon location is one of the best-known Pinot noir locations in Italy and occupies a plateau across the valley from Kurtatsch. Here, our demanding Pinot noir vines grow on sandy, loamy conglomerate with clay minerals and oxides. The mild evening sun and low sun intensity are decisive for the lively fruit and characteristic array of aromas of our Pinot noirs. Discover the video

Glen - 450-650 m a.s.l.
Not far from the Mazon vineyards is our second Pinot noir location, somewhat higher in altitude. While the soil characteristics of the two locations are similar, the location of Glen has somewhat higher sun intensity. This, coupled with the steepness of the vineyards, brings forth exceptionally elegant Pinot noirs. Discover the video
