WineHunter: Platinum for TRES 2016!

Great news from the WineHunter Award 2025: We have received the Platinum Award for our TRES 2016! After initially being nominated as a candidate for the award, the cuvée was successfully selected during the second tasting in October and honored at the awards ceremony last Friday during the Merano WineFestival. We were also delighted to receive ‘Gold’ for the 600 BLANC DE BLANCS Spumante 2018, the BRENNTAL Merlot Riserva 2021 and the KOFL Sauvignon 2022!

A big thank you goes to Helmuth and his team, who not only host a high-level competition but also a wine event that brings together over 7,000 wine enthusiasts in Alto Adige each year.🙌

The WineHunter Award is an award for outstanding performance and high quality, which is presented annually for wine and culinary products, spirits and beers. The award is divided into three categories (90-92.99 points: Rosso, 92-95.99 points: Gold, 96-100 points: Platinum). The best wines with at least 95/100 points are classified as ‘Platinum’ candidates and have the chance to receive the highest honour at a second tasting in October. The team consists of a total of 8 tasting commissions, headed by ‘The WineHunter’ Helmuth Köcher.
